Margo is an experienced servant leader and 20-year veteran social worker who has worked for the City of Baltimore for over a decade. She is getting her doctorate in public administration at the University of Baltimore. Margo is an Emerge Maryland graduate of the 2023 cohort. Emerge Maryland is a candidacy training program that equips democratic women for public office. Margo lives in the Lauraville area with her husband Omar, a Marine veteran, their 2-year-old son, and two dogs, Trooper and Tank. Margo is passionate about approaching community issues with common sense and commitment to the constituent’s voice and vote. Margo has a long track history of bringing people and resources together.
